Remember that TradingView alerts bake in the settings at the time they are created. So if you are setting up a strategy or indicator and you have changed settings, you must remake the alert in TV by deleting it and remaking it.
Alternatively you can also edit the alert, change the condition indicator at the top to be something else, then save the alert, and then edit it again and resave it - that will pull new settings.
